Srinagar, Nov 30, KNT: Social media was abuzz with the comments of people from people after the CBI Court acquitted all the 32 accused including BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti in Babri Masjid demolition case.

The verdict of the trial court in fact became a butt of jokes on sharing applications, netizens questioning the role of investigating agency and the court alike.

Iltija Mufti who handles her mother Mehbooba Muftiโ€™s twitter account wrote: โ€œ1975- Allahabad Court found Indira Gandhi then Indian PM guilty of electoral malpractice (an in) 2020- Special CBI Court acquits L.K Advani & 31 others accused in Babri demolition case.Weโ€™ve come a long way.โ€

Senior India Journalist Harinder Baweja took to social media and tweeted: โ€œWow. All acquitted. Did you expect otherwise, oh you foolish people.โ€

She added: โ€œPlease note: the Supreme Court had termed the demolition of the #BabriMasjid a โ€˜criminalโ€™ act. Today, the special court has termed it a โ€˜spontaneousโ€™ act. One wonders why it took 28 long years.โ€

WIPRO Chairman Rishad Premji also took to twitter and quoted Benjamin Franklin who once said that โ€œJustice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who areโ€. I could not agree more,โ€ Premji concluded.

Senior Indian Journalist Rifat Jawaid said that, โ€œJustice system has become a joke.โ€

โ€œCourt has been kind enough not to book Zahir ud-Din Muhammad Babur,โ€ Journalist Naseer Ganaie wrote sarcastically on Twitter.

Another senior Journalist Mufti Islah wrote in lighter vein: โ€œHang Babur for laying a weak foundation of Babri structure.โ€

Babar was the founder of Mughal Empire in India and this Masjid was built during his reign in 16th Century.

Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker also wrote sarcastically that Babri Masji collapsed itself and nobody demolished it.

National Conference leader Aga Ruhullah Mehdi wrote: Dear, Babri Masjid, you were built on a site where no temple existed. (Supreme Court). Idols were forcefully placed inside, which was an act of crime. (Supreme Court).

But no one committed that crime. Your demolition was an act of crime. (Supreme Court). But no one did it.โ€

Youtuber Dhruv Rathee questioned saying what about the Rath Yatra because of which hundreds of people died? Who is responsible for their deaths? (KNT)
