SRINAGAR, November 15: Senior National Conference leader and District Vice President Ganderbal Peer Mohammad Yousuf Shah on Monday joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk Srinagar.
Shah who is also Deputy Block Development Council (Dy BDC) Chairman Wakoora Ganderbal joined the party along with his close associate Mohammad Younis from Kangan, in presence of Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, vice president Usman Majid, party media advisor Farooq Andrabi and Abdul Rashid Haroon provincial secretary.
Addressing the ceremony, Shah observed that Apni Party is gaining recognition and credibility on the ground at a significant pace and he was motivated to join this party because of its clear and unambiguous socio-economic and political agenda.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari hoped that with their joining the party cadre will get strengthened on the ground in district Ganderbal and its adjoining areas.
“Apni Party is a political platform for the people and particularly for all those aspiring political workers who do not believe in hoodwinking the masses with hollow sloganeering and emotive politics. Our aim is to work for the welfare of people and not to sell them dreams about the moon and the stars,” he added.
