Srinagar: The annual Amarnath Yatra has been suspended after a suspicious object was found lying on the Kashmir highway on Tuesday morning.
Sources that the annual pilgrimage to Amarnath was suspended after IED was detected near Malpora area in Qazigund on the National Highway.
The authorities instantly suspended the Yatra on the highway and special forces including bomb disposal squad were rushed to the spot.
