In a statement issued to KNS, JKPCC President G. A. Mir while paying tributes to Founder of Daily Rising Dr. Shujaat Bukhari in his second death anniversary, described him an affectionate and veteran journalist, who always used his pen in right direction and never compromised on his fearless and professional journalism.
Shujaat was a great personality, who was helpful to people especially the budding journalists of Kashmir, who provided them opportunities to learn and work in his Media Houses.
The contributions of Shujaat Bukhari to Journalism and Culture shall always be remembered. PCC President said.
We have lost a bold voice in the assassination of Shujaat Bukhari, I share the grief of the bereaved family and pray for his eternal peace, Mir said.
Shujaat was an upright personality, his assignation was indeed a great loss to Journalist fraternity and people, as well, G. A. Mir added.
