Srinagar: Two more militants were killed in an encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Zoonimar area of central Kashmirโs Srinagar district taking the death toll of militants to three, police said.
An official said that two more militants were killed in the gunfight in Zoonimar area of Srinagar district.
He added that the identity and group affiliation of slain militants were being ascertained.
The search operation is on in the area and further details are awaited.
Earlier, police had said that one militant was killed in the encounter.
